Spicetify is a free music program by a group of indie developers over at Spicetify. It is a command line-based utility made for the official Spotify client for PC. With it, users can customize the player to their liking and change things like UI themes and other components.

Compared to the official Spotify app, Spicetify offers more versatility and control over various aspects of the player not allowable in the original version. Aside from the visual change that they can make, advanced users can also add extensions and custom parameters to help fine-tune the listening experience to their liking.

The official desktop client for Spotify works as it should, and there's nothing really wrong with it. However, there will be some who will want more customization options, and Spicetify fills that need quite nicely.
